This extraordinary pipe is unsmoked and perfect. At this years Chicago Pipe Show, Tonni Nielsen confirmed to me that he had made the pipe and finished it just after his move to the U.S in the early 1980's. The pipe does not have a grade stamp. However, Rob Cooper (Coopersark), a foremost expert on Larsens advised me that during this period the grade "Pearl" was not used when the pipe was also marked "Straight Grain" as this pipe is. Tonni also told me that it would have been a Pearl.
This beauty is 7 1/2 inches long, 2 inches high with a chamber of 13/16ths and a weight of 2.9 ounces. It comes with its original leather pipe bag.
I'm asking $1200 for this pipe but will entertain offers.
