The briar in this pipe came to me in a roundabout way. It’s pushing 20 years out of the ground and is probably Algerian. Whatever it is, it resulted in a nearly flawless pipe with some excellent birdseye. The stem is of German ebonite in the brindle or Cumberland style. It’s actually a bit larger than my typical work so for those of you looking for a larger pipe with extra capacity, this may be the ticket. All my pipes are made with an open airway.
