As I understand it, the “Shape Reformed” creations of Pipe-Dan recongized that many, if not most, pipe smokers like to hang the pipe at a downward angle when they smoke.  The Shape Reformed design allowed the smoker to do so and still see the rim and chamber of the pipe.  The tall, narrow chamber also promotes an even burn.  This is one of several that I’ll be offering in coming weeks.  It’s in very fine condition in all respects.  It came to me without a stem and Mike Myers of Walker Pipe Repair did a great job of making one to my specifications.  Fit and finish are perfect and the bit is comfortably thin.  Please note that the original stem on this pipe had no stem logo so the replacement stem is largely irrelevant. .
