Peter Heding has established himself as one of the elites among Danish artisan pipe makers. This Heding Silver Dot demonstrates why. The shape is sublime. The grain is spectacular and beautifully brought out with staining very reminiscent of the golden contrast method of Tom Eltang. Rim and bowl bottom are birdseye and the rest of the bowl is straight grain. Stem is hand cut ebonite - very soft in the mouth. Condition is exceptional. I've rated it 9.9 of 10 only because it's been smoked. The pipe will come with the original Heding padded lamb skin bag.
