Seven Day Set

This set is a bit of a puzzlement to me.  Thorneycroft was a BBB line.
BBB was an English pipe maker.  The stems on this group are stamped
"France" and there is no country of origin stamped on the stummel.  Be
that as it may, they're nice traditional English shapes with a black
blast and stamped "Thorneycroft" in script on the stummel and "Matched
Grain" on the stems.  The Saturday pipe is not original to the set,
though it fits perfectly into the nest in the box.  It's of the same
finish and stamped "Scotsman's Delight" and "Made in England."  The
Sunday through Friday pipes are lightly smoked and all in top grade
condition.   The Saturday pipe, though still in very good condition
has been smoked more.  All these pipes are comparable in size to
Dunhill Group 4's.
The exterior of the case is a heavy card construction with a coating
which is in average shape for a set this old.  The interior is clean
and in good to excellent condition.
