The original John Dengler Tobacco and Pipe shop was founded in St.
Louis in 1917. In the 70's the third generation owner, also John
Dengler, moved the operation to St. Charles, MO. to a former inn and
tavern which came with a ghost, frequently seen by Mrs. Dengler.
Sadly, Mr. Dengler recently passed away.
This beautiful billiard was private labeled for the Dengler shop. I
don't know who made it but it's a first class piece of briar and
craftsmanship, perfectly drilled and finished with very nice birdseye
on much of the bowl. Length - 6 1/4 Inches
