This Group 3, Shape 741 F/T, Dunhill Root carries a very nice cross
grain with nice birdseye on either side of the bowl with good contrast
for a Dunhill.  This pipe was made during the period when Dunhill was
getting its best and most consistent briar.  There's a bit of rim
darkening and a slight irregularity of the inner rim.  Nomenclature is
adequate.  There are no tooth marks on the stem. The pipe is amazingly
light at just 0.8 ounces.
