This is an older hand made piece with a hand cut stem.  Sixten Ivarsson, Jess Chonowitsch and Tom Eltang all produced designs for Stanwell.  This is pretty clearly an Ivarsson design.  The nomenclature, which is in excellent condition, includes "Hand Made," "Regd, No. 969-48" and "20R" in addition to the brand name.  On the stem, the Stanwell "S" and "Hand Cut" are complete and easily readable.  This is a fairly rare piece.
